Valentina, Victoria, and Camila's journey mirrors the stories of many first-gen individuals. Growing up in immigrant households, they experienced the trauma of exclusion and a lack of representation in the dominant market brands. Determined to rewrite this narrative, they birthed Vavica Bodycare—a sanctuary of inclusivity and self-love.

We had the opportunity to connect with the three visionary sisters to explore their self-care practices and uncover their personal favorites among their exceptional product lineup. Yet, let's be honest—choosing a single favorite product proves quite challenging. However, if pressed to choose, the body wash would likely take the spot. For me, self-care is all about appreciating myself and taking care of my body. It's about being kind to myself and making sure I take time to relax because I know that if I'm not feeling my best, it's harder to achieve my goals. My routine is pretty simple – I start with morning walks and do a workout that's not too intense. In the evenings, I love taking a calming bath and following a simple skincare routine. Applying beauty & body care products with care just makes me happy about my skin and body. To unwind, I enjoy reading a good book or watching a show I love. This routine is my way of showing love to myself and making sure I'm both physically and emotionally well.

Taking time for self-care is essential for me, especially as someone who has always dealt (& still deals) with anxiety. My routine revolves around finding moments to unwind and reset. “My self-care routine involves taking care of my mind and body inside and out. For me, I have to stick to my morning routine which includes a guided meditation to clear my mind, my to-do checklist to organize my day and a workout to push my body physically. After my workout, it’s important for me to shower because I’ve always dealt with body acne and texture all my life and I make sure that I do my scalp and haircare first, followed by my bodycare routine (using all clean beauty products!) to cleanse and nourish my body.
